Phase 1

Every successful waterfront subdivision project begins with precision and foresight. Before a single machine was moved to the Carrum site, our team carried out a comprehensive risk assessment and secured all necessary local government permits.

A secure perimeter was established using professional fencing and clear safety signage, ensuring full compliance with Victorian safety standards and preparing the site for smooth mobilisation.

Phase 2

Specialised Internal Strip-Out & Asbestos Mitigation

To maximise material recovery and ensure safe demolition, we completed a detailed internal strip-out. This included the careful removal of all non-structural fixtures, cabinetry, and flooring.
During this stage, our licensed hazardous materials team safely removed and disposed of all identified asbestos in accordance with EPA guidelines, leaving a clean structure ready for mechanical demolition.

Phase 3

Controlled Structural Teardown

Using our high-performance fleet of excavators, we carried out a controlled structural demolition. Our operators focused on “quiet power”, using advanced dust suppression and water-misting systems to minimise environmental impact on the surrounding waterfront area. The structure was dismantled methodically, ensuring complete control over debris direction and site safety at all times.

Phase 4

Foundation Removal & Earthworks

With the structure removed, we focused on the below-ground elements. Old concrete footings, deep-set slabs, and underground obstructions were excavated to ensure no future construction delays. All concrete and steel waste was loaded into dedicated skip bins and transported to specialised recycling facilities, supporting our commitment to sustainable demolition practices.

Phase 5

Final Leveling & Construction Readiness

The project concluded with precise earth levelling and a full site clean-down. We transformed the waterfront block into a clean, level construction-ready site, delivered on schedule and prepared for the next stage of subdivision development.
